WADDESDON MANOR

The classic English country garden, when done well, is something to behold and it is no surprise that it is a setting desired by so many brides and grooms. This beautiful couple wanted a relaxed yet elevated country garden location and Waddesdon Manor could not have been more perfect for them. A gem set in Buckinghamshire, this French Renaissance-style chateau is surrounded by stunning landscaped gardens and endless photo opportunities.

Dressed in her custom Suzanne Neville dress, the bride walked down the aisle to meet her groom under the chuppah, set in the Dairy Courtyard. The already-beautiful courtyard had been enhanced by additional foliage, pink roses and English garden blooms. The British weather was kind to the couple and allowed for a meaningful ceremony, witnessed by their guests.

After the ceremony, the guests were encouraged to enjoy their surroundings and mingle. Adding a special touch to the drinks reception, the couple added a cute pink ice-cream van to help their guests stay cool. An abundance of home-made flavours were a real hit with the guests which was evident by the queue! Prior to heading into the perfectly simplistic yet stylish pole marquee for dinner, guests were encouraged to look for a tambourine with their name hand-painted on the skin. This would not only serve as part of the entertainment but also tell them the table at which to sit.

Dinner service by Melanie’s Catering was interspersed with energetic sets from Muzika who ensured that the dance floor filled in a heartbeat. When seated at their dinner tables, guests could enjoy the soft palette of sage green, white and pink. Foliage was used on the poles, and the table décor was kept perfectly delicate so that guests could talk easily over the arrangements and see the whole space.

To add one final level to the wedding, guests later moved from the marquee to the Conservatory in which the JustSeventy team had built a nightclub for the afterparty. The bar was open, the guests danced, and it was everything and more that the newlyweds could have hoped for.
