With an international guest list, could there be a more iconic London event location that the Tower of London?
A regular and valued JustSeventy corporate client requested a memorable setting for their annual investor dinner. Arriving through the West Gate to start the guided walking tour, guests made their way to the drinks reception whilst listening to a scene-setting summary of the magnificent Tower of London. The Jewel House was a magical place in which guests enjoyed drinks and canapés whilst marvelling at the crowns, jewellery and sparkles within the famous vault.
From sacred and ceremonial objects in the Jewel House, to a highly symbolic space for dinner: The White Tower. Dating back to the time of William the Conqueror, the White Tower was built to awe and, almost a thousand years later, it still does. Although originally built to deter foreign invaders, ironically this event was a reunion of internationals working across this successful wealth asset management firm. Up in the tower, minimal décor is required to create a spectacular dinner setting. The additional lighting to create warmth, some practical AV additions and some striking floral arrangements were the main components.
Every section of the evening had been carefully orchestrated and dinner was no exception. A delicious meal, a perfect environment for meaningful conversations and well-curated speaker content meant that guests remained lively and engaged. It was a hugely successful event, leading the way into the company’s larger event the following day.
It is so rare that exiting an event venue at the end of the night is as special as the start. With views across the Thames, the imposing Tower Bridge and the twinkling London lights, guests were left with lasting memories of a very special night.
