Forget the Grammys and don’t even think about the BAFTAs… the only red carpet that matters is the one at the Audreys! For one night only, at The Grove in North London, Hollywood glamour and pizazz took over.
Pulling up in front of the private entrance, guests took straight to the red carpet, only stopping to be interviewed by presenter Alex Gray, and have their photo taken against the official Audreys backdrop, in true celebrity style! Prior to entering the main space, the batmitzvah girl’s friends picked up their VIP passes, giving them access to a much cooler and more exclusive set of tables, while the adults picked up their regular box office ticket slips.
Transformed from hotel Ballroom to pure production perfection, the space was ready for any star-studded awards ceremony between here and Los Angeles. Red and gold formed every part of the creative vision, from linen to tableware, peppered with bulbs and lamps amidst the velvet drapes and stage design. The décor was finished off beautifully with timeless red roses placed everywhere, in a fabulously contemporary fashion by Love Flowers.
The bespoke glossy dancefloor was ready and the sleek mirror bar, with stools and velvet drapes, was open and worthy of a permanent spot in Hollywood. Guests made their way to their tables then straight to the dancefloor to celebrate the next chapter in this youngster’s life. Throughout the evening, both DJ Max Elliott and ALR’s We Are The Fellas kept the party going and the energy high.
It isn’t enough to have a room set out as an awards ceremony, there needs to actually be an awards ceremony! The charismatic Richard Joy hosted this very fun addition to the evening which was light and interactive entertainment for all. Every table had to nominate someone to ‘finish that lyric’ by standing up and singing in front of the whole room. Whether a wallflower or a star performer, the game was embraced by all guests and the awards ceremony style evening was a huge success.
