The JustSeventy team have always been firm believers that an excuse is never needed to throw a big party; and when it is a joint 50th birthday celebration, it’s time to pull out all the stops!

Claridge’s, the iconic and historic hotel in the heart of Mayfair, was the location of choice with a layout that worked perfectly for the flow of the guests, and an aesthetic to match that of the clients’ tastes.

Cabaret dancers, The IT Girls lit up the room with their sequins, feathers and polished dance routines to match. When not enjoying a performance on the dance floor, but a deliciously prepared meal at their tables, the guests were entertained by roaming band The Diamond Boys. Moving around to the various tables, guests gradually joined in with the well-known repertoire performed by the exceptional musicians and the party was ready to take off.

All of the spaces were dressed exquisitely by Simon Lycett, starting with classic whites and greens in the reception spaces, leading to vivid pinks and jewel-tones combined with lanterns and candles in the Ballroom. By the custom-made dance floor, sat the main bar ready for all of the guests after dinner. In addition to this, a circular bar was installed in the reception area to create an after-dinner spot for those who wanted a more relaxed and calmer space.

As the night progressed, the guests danced to the lively tunes from the DJ and posed in front of the silver shimmer photo-wall booth. For the younger adults, there was a cool games space in the Mirror Room, allowing for plenty of fun and privacy from the older guests.

The energy of the guests, the beautiful lighting and the abundance of mirror made for an electric evening – double the fun for this double birthday!
