JUST TRENDING DECEMBER 2019

Below is our December 2019 JUST TRENDING newsletter.

JUST DRINK – Here at JustSeventy we are partial to a Gin & Tonic or two. This month Tanqueray catered to our love of the popular spirit with their Tanqueray Townhouse in Holborn. During the experience guests could indulge in three floors of gin-related fun. Along with an extensive menu of gin cocktails, the event also included magicians, aura photography (don’t ask) and scent testing of the herbal botanicals that compliment a perfect G&T. Our favourite part was the calligraphy area where guests could design their own bottle label, wax seal and wrapping paper, making for a perfect Christmas gift. Our only complaint is that the pop-up was only around for one week.

JUST WATCH – Our friends at The Berkeley have brought back their gorgeous Rooftop Winter Cinema for the festive season. The iconic hotel is showing two films each evening to get you into the holiday spirit. To accompany the entertainment, they will be serving a selection of festive favourites like hot chocolate and mulled wine to warm up with. The venue has also created a delectable menu to indulge in which includes the ‘Aspen, USA’, a mouth-watering selection of truffle macaroni, crispy chicken wings and a spiced beef hot dog. With all these delights and more, this cosy cavern is a must visit.

JUST EXPERIENCE – Is there anything more festive than a good old-fashioned Christmas market? Over two weekends this December, The Boiler House are reinventing the standard Xmas emporium with their free Conscious Christmas Market. The pop-up is set to consist of a vast array of sustainable offerings, from vegan eats to yoga workshops. This time of year and the excess that comes with it can be hard on our planet, so we love the idea of consuming consciously whilst still having a jolly good time.

JUST EAT – This month we are obsessed with the trendy new restaurant in town, Amazonico. This stylish eatery originated in Madrid and quickly became one of the most exclusive restaurants around. Amazonico provides a delicious fusion of Latin American and Asian flavours to tantalise your taste buds. If you fancy a rainforest exploration complete with live music and a jazzy vibe, this will be the place for you.

JUST DANCE – If you are looking for a place to dance the night away, this North London venue is a perfect option. Brought to you by the team behind Printworks, The Drumsheds is a 10,000-capacity space containing four warehouses, designed for both music and cultural events. The space was introduced when it hosted London’s Field Day festival in the summer and has been buzzing ever since. As the building is a former gas works, it has a cool industrial vibe that likens it to a nightclub you would expect to find in Berlin. A big bonus is the venue’s extended curfew due to its distance from residential housing, making it ideal for large scale festivals and all-night DJ sets.

JUST INNOVATE – Food is an integral part of an amazing event and can be used to entertain as well as nourish your guests. If you are looking for a way to wow, the Gastronomy Guys offer a selection of some of the most unique interactive food concepts we have come across. The team offer food experiences that embrace the weird and wonderful such as Bacon and Eggs Nitro Ice Cream and Habanero Chilli Meringues. The Guys are currently offering some amazingly festive Nitro Desserts such as the ‘Gold Coin Dragon’s Breath Meringues’ and the ‘Minced Pie Ripple Instant Ice Cream + Puff’. These crazy creations would be showstopping at your upcoming Christmas or New Year’s Eve party.
